Welcome to Bubbl

Bubbl sends the right message at the right moment, triggered by where people are. The dashboard is where you build and run it.

Welcome a customer as they walk into your store, remind a lapsed user when they're nearby, or ask for feedback as they leave an event. Bubbl does it from your app, with nothing extra for the user to do.

How Bubbl works#

Three building blocks fit together:

  • Locations are the places you care about. You draw a geofence, a polygon or a circle, around a shop, a stadium or a campus. When a phone crosses it, Bubbl knows.
  • Notifications are what you say. A Message has a headline, a body and optional media and call-to-action button; a Survey asks up to five questions. You build them once and reuse them.
  • Campaigns bring them together. A geo campaign fires notifications when people enter or leave its locations; a push campaign sends them at set times on one day. Nothing reaches a phone unless a campaign sends it.

Your first campaign in four steps#

  1. 1
    Draw a location
Go to Locations › Create Location, draw the shape on the map, name it and click Create location.
  2. 2
    Write a notification
Go to Notifications › Create Notification, write the headline and body, and click Save and exit.
  3. 3
    Build the campaign
Go to Campaigns › Create Campaign, pick your location, set when it runs, attach your notification and choose On enter or On exit.
  4. 4
    Let it run
Click Create campaign. It starts at the time you set, and its page shows every delivery as it happens.

The quickstart walks through each step in detail.

Where to find things#

The sidebar has the Dashboard home, then Campaigns, Locations, Notifications, Reports, Company and Configuration. Owners and admins see everything; marketers don't see the company settings, team or billing pages, and of Configuration they only see Test Devices, in the Sandbox. The workspace switcher at the top of the sidebar moves you between your Sandbox and Production workspaces.

Start in the SandboxA new company starts in its Sandbox, where only phones you approve get anything. Build and test there, then copy your work to Production. See Sandbox and Production.
