Plugin and the privacy view
Choose when your app's privacy view appears, what it says and which policy it links to, and set how often a notification can fire on a device.
Configuration › Plugin with the Privacy view, Privacy text and Privacy policy link fields and the triggering settings
Go to Configuration › Plugin. Owners, admins and developers can change it, per workspace. The SDK fetches these settings from Bubbl, so changes reach your app without a new release.
The privacy view#
The SDK can show a short privacy view before it asks for location or notification permission.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Privacy view | Show automatically: the first time each permission is asked for. Always show: before every permission prompt. Never show: never. |
| Privacy text | The copy shown in the privacy view, up to 2,000 characters. |
| Privacy policy link | The policy the privacy view links to. Must be a full URL. |
Triggering and check-ins#
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Trigger limit | The most times one notification fires on a device per window (1 to 1,000). |
| Trigger window | The window the limit applies to, in days (1 to 365). |
| Server poll time | How often the SDK checks in with Bubbl for new settings, in seconds. |
