Edit, pause or delete a campaign

Change a campaign while it runs, stop it for a while, or remove it, from the campaigns overview or the campaign's own page.

Edit a campaign#

   Open the edit form

   On Campaigns › Overview, open the campaign's actions menu and click Edit, or click Edit on the campaign's page.

   Make your changes

   Change the name, targets, audience, schedule, attached notifications or re-trigger options. The form is the same as when you created it.

   Save

   Click Save. View performance → takes you back to the campaign's page.

Once a campaign has started, its start is fixed: a geo campaign's end can still move ("Leave the end open to keep it running"), a push campaign's day can't, and the timezone is locked.

An edit to a geo campaign's locations, audience or triggers doesn't reach phones straight away: Bubbl invalidates its cache as soon as you save, but each phone only picks up the change on its next geofence refresh — within 15 minutes, or sooner if it moves. Test a change on your own phone rather than assuming it's live at once.

Pause or resume#

Click Pause in the row's actions menu or on the campaign's page. A paused campaign sends nothing until you click Resume, and its status shows since when it's been paused.

Delete a campaign#

   Choose Delete

   Open the campaign's actions menu (on the overview or its page) and click Delete.

   Confirm with its name

   Type the campaign's name to confirm and click Delete. It stops running and is removed from your campaigns.

Deleting a campaign doesn't delete its locations or notifications: they stay in your libraries for other campaigns. Deletion can't be undone from the dashboard, and there's no Bubbl support path to bring a deleted campaign back, so check its name carefully before confirming.
