⚠️ Geofence Limitations
iOS Platform Restrictions (Apple CoreLocation):
- Maximum of 20 geofences can be monitored simultaneously per app
- Only 20 geofences within a 10-mile (16 km) radius can be tracked at once
- iOS automatically prioritizes the closest geofences when limit is exceeded
Android Platform Restrictions (Google Play Services):
- Maximum of 100 geofences can be monitored simultaneously per app
- Better performance than iOS but still finite
💡 Best Practice: Design your campaigns to work within iOS's 20-geofence limit per 10-mile radius. The Bubbl SDK automatically prioritizes the closest and most relevant geofences, but keeping your active campaigns under 20 geofences in any given area ensures reliable triggering on all devices.
