- From the Locations menu, choose Create Location Group and enter a group name (e.g. "Southeast").
- Select individual locations (e.g. Greater London, Slough, etc.) to include under that group.
- Click Create Group—your new group will now appear in the Locations Group dropdown when building campaigns.
⚠️ Geofence Limitations for Location Groups
iOS Platform (Apple CoreLocation):
- Maximum of 20 geofences can be monitored simultaneously per app
- Only 20 geofences within a 10-mile (16 km) radius can be tracked at once
- Each location in a group counts toward this limit
Android Platform (Google Play Services):
- Maximum of 100 geofences can be monitored simultaneously per app
- Each location in a group counts toward the 100-geofence limit
💡 Best Practice: When creating location groups, ensure the total number of geofences within any 10-mile radius stays under 20 for iOS compatibility. Consider grouping locations by geographic regions to avoid exceeding limits in densely populated areas.
